Under the leadership of Band Director Jeremy Lindquist, the CMS North Honor Winds Band has advanced out of the Area level out of more than 200 bands to the State level as part of the Texas Music Educators Association’s Honor Band Competition. The State level contest will occur on July 20 and features state judges listening to recordings that each Area champion made back in May. If the CMS North Honor Winds Band places first at the State level, then the band would play a live performance for parents and band directors from across the state in February 2024.
