Applications are being accepted through the end of the business day at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, for CISD’s iLead 1 program. iLead 1 is a leadership training series for interested parents and community members looking to become informed leaders and advocates for our students. Participants will gain insight into the operations of CISD, as well as learn about the district's curriculum framework and community engagement opportunities.
The iLead 1 program includes five, two-hour monthly sessions held on Wednesday evenings in the fall. Each participant must commit to attending all five sessions, as well as one monthly Board Meeting before April 2024. Sessions are set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 20, Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
A session fee of $50 (+ convenience fee, if paying via Schoolpay) per registrant will help defray district expenses incurred, including the dinners provided at each session and an iLead shirt.
