At the March 26 Board of Trustees meeting, it was announced that Marcy Walters will be the new Principal for Victory Place @ Coppell for the 2024-2025 school year.
Walters brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to education. With 26 years of experience in the field, Walters has served in various capacities, including as a bilingual educator, assistant principal, principal and the CISD Coordinator for Student and Staff Services since October 2023. Her dedication to student and staff success is evident in her diverse background, where she has worked with students from all backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses at both the elementary and secondary levels.
One of her notable strengths is her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, which has enabled her to effectively communicate and connect with culturally diverse populations. Her extensive experience in training teachers and her passion for fostering inclusive environments make her a valuable asset to our school community.
Walters will assume her role as Principal at Victory Place @ Coppell for the 2024-2025 school year, Current Victory Place @ Coppell Principal Cindi Osborne is retiring at the end of the 2024 school year. Walters and Osborne will be able to work together to make this leadership transition a smooth one for the Victory Place staff and students.
