During the April 22 Board Meeting, CISD Trustees honored the district’s Spring 2024 Great Employees who Matter or GEMs, who are district employees who go above and beyond in their duties in serving the district. The Spring 2024 GEMs are:

Discussed and approved a Resolution  to select Rutherford, Taylor & Company to conduct an Efficiency Audit at a cost of $23,000 to $28,000, that, according to Texas Education Code Section 11.184(b), will include:

Approved Nitor Solutions Inc. for Silent Panic Alert Technology (SPAT) for an amount not to exceed $900,000 paid for by State Safe Grand Funds — Cycle 1 funds;

Approved the certification of Instructional Materials Allotment Funds in an amount not to exceed $1.2 Million, which is funded by the state of Texas;

Approved the Financial Report for March 2024 and the Budget Amendments for April 2024.
