Cottonwood Creek students were highlighted for showing their compassion and community spirit by collecting essential items for the food pantry at Coppell High School, demonstrating their dedication to supporting those in need. Meanwhile, Mockingbird Elementary celebrated a heartwarming triumphant return to school for 5th grader Lauren Gutierrez. Head CISD School Resource Officer Sgt. Byron Mitchell, along with the Coppell Police Department, Coppell Fire Department, Citizens on Patrol, and the entire MKB community, orchestrated a warm and uplifting welcome for Lauren, symbolizing the strength of unity and support within our community.
