Principal's Corner

laura springer Welcome to the start of a new and exciting year at CMS East. We are looking forward to seeing students wandering our hallways and hearing the excitement in their voices. Our faculty is strong and dedicated to inspiring our students to achieve their very best. Our strategic vision for our campus will focus on PBL for all of our students. We want to teach collaboration and 21st Century skills that will enable our students to be competitive in a global marketplace.

Our motto for the year at East is “Everybody is somebody at East”. Your students should come home and talk with you about the exciting attitude present in our hallways. We have really worked on building positive relationships through our Fish Philosophy. We are going to care for each other and build one another up to be the best we can possibly be each day.

East is a wonderful school with rich traditions that will enable us to achieve unlimited success. It is our goal to prepare our students for success at every level. We want them to be involved in clubs and organizations to round out their middle school experience. Come out and support our students in all their extra-curricular endeavors as they strive to represent East with pride. Our office doors are always open to anyone that needs our help.

This is going to be a wonderful year, so join us as we work to make a difference in our student’s lives.
