Briyansa Bhattarai, a rising junior at New Tech High @ Coppell, and Shreya Shah, a rising junior at Coppell High School, have been honored with a 2026 #CreateConnectCare Award from Creative Visions. This global initiative celebrates youth creativity as a tool for promoting mental health awareness, fostering emotional connection and supporting community care.

Selected from thousands of submissions from all 50 United States and 15 countries, Bhattarai earned the Visionary Spark Award in the 13-15-year-old film category for her project, Legacy of Light, and Shreya Shah received the Imagination Catalyst Award in the 13-15-year-old literary category for her work, Rescued from My Mind .
