Learning Spotlight: Engineering in Action at CMS East: Designing Jungle Transportation Options

Students in the CMS East Principles of Engineering Career and Technical Education (CTE) class put their problem-solving skills to work in a hands-on design challenge. Students drew, designed and built models of a transportation solution to move essential supplies through the jungle during a natural disaster, considering the unique obstacles and conditions they might encounter. The project encouraged students to apply engineering concepts, think creatively and collaborate as they developed a design to solve a real-world problem.
