Senate Bill 204 from the 2025 Legislative Session added TEC, §26.0025, which requires the Texas Education Agency to create and maintain a handbook that explains all rights of a parent regarding the education of the parent's child. The handbook is available on the agency’s website: TEA Parental Rights Handbook and on the CISD website at www.coppellisd.com.
