This week, seventh grade science students at CMS East put their STEM skills to the test as they constructed solar ovens to explore heat transfer through conduction, convection and radiation. Led by their science teachers, students harnessed the power of the Sun to heat up their creations and make delicious s’mores along the way. It was a “s’more” than memorable way to bring a science lesson to life through hands-on learning.
