Leading Learning Recycling by Example at Denton Creek Elementary

Denton Creek Elementary fifth graders are making a difference through their brand-new Green Team. The student leaders created a bilingual presentation in English and Spanish and designed a hands-on recycling game to teach Pre-kindergarten learners how to properly sort recyclables at school. Their initiative, creativity and commitment to helping others demonstrate what it means to be a leader and make a positive impact in their school community.
