A student-created “Sara’s Exhibit” display is arranged on a classroom table. The center sign reads “Sara’s Exhibit” on orange and pink paper, decorated with stars, question marks, and silhouette drawings. Three numbered items are displayed with handwritten description cards. Item 1 is a sketchbook featuring watercolor paints, colored pencils, and the phrase “be creARTive.” Item 2 is a pack of collectible trading cards. Item 3 is a yellow pencil. A small framed photograph is displayed to the right of the exhibit. Additional student projects and note cards are visible on surrounding tables in the classroom.

During the first week of school, fifth graders at Canyon Ranch Elementary created “Me Museums” to introduce themselves to their classmates, bringing in special items from home that represent who they are and the things they love to do. This creative activity gave students a fun opportunity to share their interests, learn more about one another and celebrate the unique qualities that make their classroom community special.
