Students at Mockingbird Elementary are building strong literacy skills through engaging reading and writing experiences. As they explore books, discover new stories and develop their writing skills, students are growing as confident readers, writers and communicators. These classroom experiences came together under the stars on Oct. 22 during Mockingbird Elementary’s Reading Under the Stars event, where students and families celebrated the joy of reading and the power of storytelling. The event highlighted the importance of nurturing a love of literacy at school and at home, helping students’ imaginations and learning shine bright.
