Canyon Ranch Elementary has been recognized by Solution Tree as a Promising Practices Professional Learning Community at Work® for its success in raising student achievement. The school’s commitment to the PLC at Work process has made a clear, positive impact on student learning.
PLCs emphasize three core principles: focusing on learning, building a collaborative culture, and maintaining a results-oriented approach.
“This designation is an exciting milestone,” said Principal Ashley Minton, who praised the staff’s dedication and teamwork in strengthening student learning as they work toward becoming a Model PLC School.
Promising Practices schools are honored for establishing a strong PLC foundation, implementing its concepts for at least one to two years, and showing measurable improvement in student outcomes. Recognized schools are featured on AllThingsPLC.info, where they share strategies and resources with other educators. The site is maintained by Solution Tree, a long-standing provider of tools and strategies that support improved staff and student performance.
