The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the final ratings for 2025, and Coppell ISD is proud to have earned an “A” rating. While this recognition—and the high marks of our schools — is commendable, we also recognize that TEA “grades” are based largely on the high-stakes, multiple-choice STAAR test and represent just one measure of success.
In Coppell ISD, we prioritize a growth mindset and live out our Redefining Success core value: “We value each individual’s contribution because success can be different for everyone.”
“We celebrate the achievements of our students, teachers, and administrators reflected in this report,” said Interim Superintendent Doug Williams. “But we also celebrate the many other outcomes our students display daily that truly exemplify the excellence of Coppell ISD.”
Beyond the A–F system, Coppell ISD uses the Community-Based Accountability System (CBAS) to measure what matters most to our community. CBAS provides a holistic view of progress in areas that can’t be captured by a single test, including:
