Constitution Day Collage

On Sept. 17, Coppell ISD students joined schools across the nation in celebrating Constitution Day, a time to reflect on the document that has guided our democracy for nearly 240 years. At Town Center Elementary, Beth Parker’s 4th grade class rotated through engaging “Constitution Stations” to learn about the nation’s founding principles. Meanwhile, Mockingbird Elementary 5th graders in Ann Van Zandt’s class explored the Preamble through videos, a sorting competition and even examined a full-sized replica of the Constitution. These activities brought history to life while helping students understand the importance of the Constitution in protecting the freedoms we enjoy today.
