The Coppell Varsity Band marched into the spotlight at the 6A UIL State Championship Contest, finishing 9th and proving they’re still perfectly in tune with excellence. This impressive accomplishment marks the program’s 20th state qualification and 18th time as a finalist, reinforcing a legacy that never falls out of step. Congratulations to every band member and to directors Kimberly Shuttlesworth, Aaron Dugger, Brandon Slovak, Kate McCutcheon, Randall Nguyen and Justin Lum for orchestrating another outstanding competition season.
