Valley Ranch Elementary marked a memorable milestone on Oct. 31 with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating its newly renovated campus, funded through the voter-approved 2023 Bond. Adding extra charm to the occasion, students and staff participated in book character dress-up day, filling the halls with beloved literary figures as the community gathered to honor the refreshed learning environment. CISD Superintendent Dr. Leanne Shivers and Chief Operations Officer Sid Grant joined CISD Trustees Jonathan Powers, Ranna Raval, Nichole Bentley, Leigh Walker and Anthony Hill, along with former Superintendent Dr. Brad Hunt, Principal Cynthia Arterbery and Assistant Principal Sheryl Dennehy to commemorate this exciting new chapter for VRE.
