CISD is proud to celebrate five outstanding students who have earned the esteemed Gold Award — the highest achievement in Girl Scouts. This recognition places CISD in the top two districts across 32 counties for the number of Gold Award recipients this year. The Gold Award honors Girl Scouts in grades 9-12 who tackle pressing community issues through at least 80 hours of leadership, problem-solving, and project work, creating sustainable, lasting change. From mental health awareness to environmental stewardship and STEM education, these students have made a meaningful impact both locally and globally.
