Dear CISD Community,
Tonight, the CISD Board of Trustees did not approve the Campus Consolidation Plan, which means Town Center Elementary will remain open.
Our district will now explore other measures to address the significant budget challenges we continue to face. These decisions are not easy and will require thoughtful consideration to ensure we protect the long-term financial stability and educational excellence of Coppell ISD. The steps ahead will likely affect many areas of our district. While staffing reductions will take place, throughout the decision process, we will work to keep all stakeholders informed and to ensure the impact on students is as minimal as possible.
These outcomes are difficult, and while they may bring uncertainty for our community, together we will work to ensure we have a solid financial foundation that remains steadfast to student success. Please know these considerations are not taken lightly. We remain deeply committed to supporting our students and staff and to being transparent as we work through these next steps together.
While this is a challenging moment for Coppell ISD, I have great faith in our community’s strength and shared dedication to our students. Together, we will navigate these challenges and continue to provide the exceptional educational experience that defines our district.
