Coppell High School’s Speech and Debate program continues to set the standard for excellence, ranking No. 32 among more than 3,000 schools nationwide according to the National Speech & Debate Association. This distinction represents the Association’s most prestigious membership award and reflects the strength, dedication and sustained success of Coppell’s Speech and Debate program. We are grateful to Debate Director Jason Sykes and Speech and Debate Coach SunHee Simon for their leadership and commitment to keeping this exceptional program strong and providing students with opportunities to develop confidence, communication skills, critical thinking and leadership.
