Lakeside Elementary - Longhorns

CISD continued its long-standing tradition of saluting our veterans and expressing our gratitude for their service to our country via various ceremonies, events and displays commemorating Veterans Day. Many CISD schools ask students to invite family members, who have served in the military or who are first responders, to participate in school assembly ceremonies to celebrate their service. Several schools create Walls of Honor to display photos to honor veterans. CISD salutes all who serve our country and thanks them for their service and sacrifice.
