During the March 30 Board meeting, Coppell ISD Trustees celebrated excellence and looked ahead to important district planning and student opportunities. During Board Awards, Trustees recognized the Coppell High School Cheer All Girl Competition Team for winning back-to-back National Cheerleaders Association national championships.
A key discussion item focused on Limited Open Enrollment and student transfers, with the addition of several neighborhoods to the program. Hiring All Points of Texas for moving, salvage, and furniture relocation related to multiple 2023 Bond construction projects, including Lakeside Elementary, the Coppell High School CTE Center, the former New Tech High @ Coppell building and newly renovated New Tech spaces, at a cost of $195,245.24 to come from 2023 Bond funds.
Approval of School Specialty for furniture additions and replacements for CMS North, the CHS CTE Center and New Tech High @ Coppell’s new spaces at a cost of $2,668,342.35 to come from 2023 Bond funds.
Awarding the Town Center Elementary roof replacement contract to Spectrum Resource Roofing for $1,423,430 to come from 2023 Bond funds.
Acceptance of completed Core Construction work for CHS tennis center additions, the new fine arts building and field events space, resulting in $645,668.11 in savings as part of the 2023 Bond.
Approval of the District-Wide Multifunction Copier Lease and Service Agreement.
Approval of monthly budget amendments for March 2026, February 2026 financial reports and the quarterly investment report ending Feb. 28, 2026.
