Two Coppell High School students recently earned top honors at the 2025 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Texas State Championship Fall Qualifier, a competition aligned with Career and Technical Education in the Business, Marketing, and Finance Career Cluster® program of study. Samal Shreyas, a 10th grader in Andrea Pirtle’s Business Information Management class, placed 4th in the Microsoft Word (Office 2019) category, while Kenzi Marlin, a 12th grader in Lindsey Bates’ class, placed 10th. Both students competed against peers from across Texas to achieve this impressive distinction.
These results reflect the strength of Coppell ISD’s MOS program, where students develop and validate critical workforce skills through industry-recognized certification. As Krista Ketchmark, Vice President at Certiport, noted, these students have proven they are among the best in the state and now hold a valuable credential that will serve them well in future academic and career pursuits.
