Congratulations to Coppell High School senior Meghna Ramaswamy for Dissociation (left), Austin Elementary second grader Khoi Nguyen for Monet-Inspired Waterlily Pond (top right) and Denton Creek Elementary fifth grader Presley Wilson for My Art Supplies (bottom right), whose artwork was selected for the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) txEDCON art exhibit. Congratulations also to art educators Michelle Hauske at CHS, Lisa Ricciardelli at Austin Elementary and Emanuela Errico at Denton Creek Elementary and for supporting these talented young artists. The exhibit is being held Oct. 8-11 during the TASA/TASB txEDCON convention in Houston. This year’s exhibit was juried due to the large number of submissions, making the selection of these three students’ artwork an especially exciting accomplishment.
