The Region 10 Spanish Spelling Bee took place on April 2, and we are incredibly proud of the students who represented Coppell ISD. Our competitors demonstrated remarkable courage, confidence, and dedication:
Amalia Gennari, our 3rd‑grade representative from Denton Creek Elementary, and Sofia Wilkins, our 6th‑grade representative from CMS North, showed tremendous bravery by stepping onto the regional stage. Their hard work, determination, and positive spirit made us all proud.
A huge congratulations to Elizabeth Castillo, our 4th/5th‑grade representative from Denton Creek Elementary, who competed for nearly three hours in an intense and highly competitive bee, earning an impressive 2nd place finish. Her perseverance and focus truly shined. This is her second time participating in the Regional bee and placing as a top speller.
We are thrilled to cheer Castillo on as she advances to the state-level Spanish Spelling Bee this June.
El Concurso Regional de Deletreo en Español de la Región 10 se llevó a cabo este jueves, y estamos increíblemente orgullosos de las estudiantes que representaron a Coppell ISD.
Nuestras participantes demostraron una valentía, confianza y dedicación extraordinarias:

Su perseverancia y enfoque realmente brillaron. ¡Esta es la segunda vez que Castillo participa en el concurso regional de deletreo y se clasifica entre los mejores!
