Coppell Independent School District has named Randy Fite as its new Chief Operations Officer, effective May 2026.
Fite brings more than 25 years of experience in construction, facilities management and large-scale capital program leadership. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Construction for Lewisville ISD, where he oversees planning and execution of bond-funded projects and long-term facilities strategy.
In his role, Fite has directed more than $2 billion in bond-funded construction projects and led the planning and execution of multiple major bond programs, including initiatives totaling more than $1.8 billion in recent years. He is known for building high-performing teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Prior to his work in Lewisville ISD, Fite served as Senior Director of Facilities Maintenance at the University of North Texas, where he led operations for a 170-building campus, and held additional leadership roles in school district facilities and construction.
“Randy brings exceptional experience in operational leadership, facilities planning and bond program management,” said Superintendent Dr. Leanne Shivers. “His proven ability to align strategy, resources and community priorities will be instrumental as we continue to support high-quality learning environments for our students and staff.”
Fite holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University and is a registered architect in the state of Texas.

As Chief Operations Officer, Fite will oversee the district’s operational functions, including facilities, construction, maintenance, transportation and other support services essential to daily district operations.
