Coppell ISD has been selected a 2025-2026 Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) District of Distinction, recognizing the district's exceptional commitment to visual arts education. Out of more than 1,200 eligible school districts across Texas, only 109 earned this prestigious designation. Presented by the Visual Art Administrators of Texas, a division of TAEA, the award honors districts that demonstrate outstanding leadership in promoting the arts through student learning, community engagement, exhibitions, contests, field experiences, interdisciplinary collaboration and active participation in TAEA. Coppell ISD earned the recognition by meeting or exceeding a rigorous 14-point rubric, reflecting the district's dedication to providing high-quality visual arts opportunities for students at every grade level.
