Four adults in a meeting room hold a banner recognizing Victory Place of Coppell as a Project ADAM Heart Safe School.

Coppell ISD is proud to announce that Wilson Elementary, Denton Creek Elementary, Coppell Middle School North and Victory Place have earned the Heart Safe School distinction through Project ADAM, meaning all 17 CISD campuses have now earned this important recognition. Project ADAM, which stands for Automated Defibrillators in Adam’s Memory, helps schools prepare for sudden cardiac emergencies by providing training, emergency response planning and access to automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help save lives. Project ADAM representatives recently presented banners to the four campuses in recognition of their achievement.

This milestone would not be possible without the dedication of CISD’s nurses, who play an essential role in keeping our students, staff and campuses healthy and safe: Becki Lander (Coordinator of Health Services), Amparo Moore (Itinerant/Flex Nurse), Brittany Logan (Coppell High School/New Tech High @ Coppell), April Trejo (Coppell High School/New Tech High @ Coppell), Cristy Runyan (Coppell High School Ninth Grade Campus), Cindy Beasley (Coppell Middle School East), Lacy Morrow (Coppell Middle School North), Kathryn McCarthy (Coppell Middle School West), Amy Smith (Austin Elementary/District Resource Nurse), Wendy Acker (Canyon Ranch Elementary), Jacee Sapienza (Cottonwood Creek Elementary), Tyler Chapman (Denton Creek Elementary), Hailee Ashworth (Lakeside Elementary), Annah Rose (Richard J. Lee Elementary), Jennifer Rogers (Mockingbird Elementary), Kristen Crenshaw (Town Center Elementary), Tara Hircock (Valley Ranch Elementary), and Laurel McCoy (Wilson Elementary)
