2024-2025 Coppell High School Course Guide
The following course guide is live and information included is subject to changes throughout the year as courses and information are updated. Please contact the appropriate counselor for clarification regarding any information that is listed. This page and the menu include important information needed to plan for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Course List link below will help you navigate directly to the course descriptions for each department.
Schedule Changes
Open July 29th - August 9th
During this window learners may request to add or drop CHS Courses or Programs with the below guidelines. Forms will be made available at Schedule Pick up and linked here.
Students schedule must align with graduation requirements.
Program (athletics, debate, fine arts) add or drop with prior written approval from coach or director.
Request for lunch or teacher changes will not be honored.
Period changes of the same class are not permitted.
*All change requests are not guaranteed. Seat availability and order of requests are considered.
Important Dates
January 16 & 17 | Counselors meet with Freshman @ CHS 9 |
January 25 | CHS Spring Open House & Information Night 5:30-7

January 26 & 29 | Counselors meet with current Juniors |
February 1 & 2 | Counselors meet with current Sophomores |
February 23 | Online Registration Closes: all course-selection requests are due for the 2024-2025 school year. Students are able to make changes through their counselor until March 1st. |
February 27 | Verification Email sent to students & parents |
March 1 | Final Date to make course-request changes |
