Authorized school personnel are allowed to administer medication to students during school hours or at school-related activities if the student has an underlying health condition that requires medication. However, the district must receive a written request from the parent, legal guardian, or other person with lawful control of the student authorizing the administration of the medication. This section briefly outlines the district's administration guidelines and procedures. Please contact your campus school nurse for additional guidelines.
