Community Based Accountability System (CBAS) - #CantTestThat

Community Based Accountability System

CISD believes in a Community-Based Accountability System or CBAS as a way to measure growth and identify areas of improvement. CBAS matters, because it means our community, which includes our parents and guardians, students, staff, local businesses and organizations, and taxpayers without children, holds the district accountable.

CISD focused on the three CBAS Pillars, Student Learning and Progress, Professional Learning and Quality Staff, and Safety and Well Being, for the 2021-2022 school year. For the 2022-2023 school year, CISD focused on the pillars from the 2021-2022 school year along with Engaged Well-Rounded Students and Fiscal and Operational Systems. In the 2023-2024 school year, CISD will focus on all seven pillars.
