Open for students who reside in the Coppell ISD boundaries AND are currently enrolled in a Coppell ISD school and would like to request a transfer to another Coppell ISD school. Students must complete a transfer request form annually.
Note, transfer requests are granted for limited reasons. All transfer requests are subject to space availability. For more information, please read the above Transfer Guidelines.
Students who reside outside the Coppell ISD attendance zone and would like to enroll through Open Enrollment Program from the approved neighborhoods, visit Open Enrollment website.

There are two opportunities to request a student transfer for the 2024-2025 school year.
The first transfer opportunity: March 1- March 31
Families notified of transfer decisions on or after April 26, 2024
The second opportunity: June 3- July 10
Families notified of transfer decisions on or after July 31, 2024
Decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
Applications are not active outside of the designated Request Window timeline.
Student Transfer for CISD Employees
INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFERS: Full-time CISD employees not living within the Coppell ISD boundaries have an option of transferring their child(ren) to CISD schools. The window for Inter-District Transfers is April 1-21, 2024. Newly hired employees may apply within 10 days of their first day of employment.
INTRA-DISTRICT TRANSFERS: Full-time CISD employees living within the Coppell ISD attendance boundaries may request to transfer their child(ren) to a different school zone within CISD. The window for Intra-District Transfers is March 1-31, 2024.
The children of staff members are accepted and considered on a space-available basis and must be submitted annually during the designated window.

Employees must arrange for before-and/or after-school care, since their children shall not be permitted to wait with them at their work stations, or in their classrooms during this time.
Staff members that reside outside of CISD must complete a transfer application prior to applying for the Dual Language Immersion or IB Programs.
