CISD Trustee Ranna Raval has achieved the Master Trustee distinction from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) after completing the year-long Leadership TASB (LTASB) program as a member of the Class of 2025. Raval was honored during a special ceremony on June 20, held in conjunction with the TASB Summer Leadership Institute in Fort Worth. She joins fellow CISD Trustees Nichole Bentley, Anthony Hill and Leigh Walker in earning this prestigious designation.

Leadership TASB is Texas’ premier leadership development program for school board members, bringing together experienced trustees from across the state to explore best practices in governance, advocacy and public education leadership. Throughout the program, Raval and her cohort traveled to school districts across Texas, including El Paso, Bryan-College Station and San Antonio, visiting campuses and engaging in learning experiences that spanned more than 2,300 miles. Since its inception in 1990, more than 1,000 trustees have completed the program, which serves to strengthen school board leadership on behalf of Texas’ 5.5 million public school students.
