Coppell ISD values community input as we consider Academic Calendar Options for the 2026–2027 school year. The CISD Community is encouraged to review Options A, B, C and D and share their preference by completing the survey at go.coppellisd.com/26-27CalendarOptionsInput by Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m. Additional feedback can be emailed to input@coppellisd.com. The CISD Board of Trustees will discuss the calendar at the Feb. 2 Board Workshop and is set to approve the calendar at the Feb. 23 Board Meeting.
All calendar options include 187 required workdays for teachers, 76,860 instructional minutes (exceeding the state requirement), a first day of school on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and a last day of school on Thursday, May 20, with graduation on Friday, May 21. Shared dates also include Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Bad Weather Days.
